Taegyun Jeon

Bio

As the founder and CEO of SI Analytics, Taegyun Jeon is responsible for running all facets of the space and AI business. Taegyun has a proven executive and management track, innovative research track record, and over five years of experience driving capability growth in the space industry. Before establishing SI Analytics, Taegyun was team leader of Satrec Initiative, responsible for investigating innovative technology and new-space business model. At Satrec Initiative, he led the transformation of an information-focused business model while establishing a foundation of AI technology for geospatial intelligence. Google also recognized Taegyun as one of the Google Cloud Innovator AI/Ml Champion in Sep 2022. And also on the 58th Invention day, he was promoted by the Prime Minister and was selected as a civilian member of the Defense AI Center by the Ministry of National Defense. Taegyun holds a BS in computer science from Dong-A University and a Ph.D. and MS in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
