AyJay leads all engineering efforts at Albedo, spanning space, ground, and manufacturing, as well as novel research and development for advanced operations in very low Earth orbit (VLEO), with specialization in high-precision control techniques to enable the collection of Albedo’s ultra-high-resolution imagery.
Before founding Albedo, AyJay spent 10 years at Lockheed Martin, most recently serving as Chief System Architect and Chief Systems Engineer. In this role, he developed satellite constellations and designs from concept through launch and on-orbit operations, iterating through in-depth performance analyses. Over the course of his career, he worked on numerous classified programs, building high-performing small satellites and exquisite large satellites for various government customers across multiple orbital regimes, including LEO, MEO, GEO, and beyond.
