Marte Indregard was appointed Chief Executive Officer of KSAT (Kongsberg Satellite Services) in February 2026. With more than 27 years of experience in the international space industry, she has held several executive leadership positions at KSAT and has been instrumental in developing and expanding the company's global satellite services and infrastructure.
Prior to becoming CEO, Marte served as Executive Vice President of KSAT's Ground Network division, where she oversaw global sales, project execution, product development, and network expansion. She also led the Earth Observation division and played a key role in the development of KSAT's value-added services, including maritime domain awareness and operational intelligence solutions.
Marte holds a Master's degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Combining deep technical expertise with extensive operational and commercial leadership experience, she brings a global perspective on the evolving space industry and the growing role of satellite technology in supporting security, sustainability, and critical decision-making.
