Lauren Lyons is Founder and CEO of Lore Space Technologies, a deep space infrastructure startup based in the US and France. Prior to Lore, she founded vdot, an execution-focused advisory firm for hardware startups; served as COO of Firefly Aerospace; and held senior engineering and program leadership roles at SpaceX (Falcon 9, Dragon, and early Starlink) and Blue Origin (crewed Lunar Lander and Orbital Reef). She also spent time at NASA-JPL leading science communications for Europa Clipper and Juno, and as an engineering intern on the Mars Exploration Rovers and Mars Science Laboratory programs. Committed to paying it forward, Lauren mentors space founders through the Creative Destruction Lab and serves as an executive mentor for the Brooke Owens and Patti Grace Smith Fellowships. She holds a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
