Cyril Annarella has over 25 years of experience in senior positions across the telecoms, space, and digital security industries, as well as advisory roles for Private Investment Funds in Europe, China, and South Asia. At the international digital security company Gemalto, Cyril undertook large-scale transformation projects in technology road mapping, global R&D portfolio management, and innovation management, with a focus on Asia.
Cyril joined Kacific, a pioneer of Ka-band satellite connectivity in the Asia-Pacific region, as a co-founder in 2013, along with two other satellite industry veterans. He is strongly committed to closing the digital divide in emerging markets through a new era of affordable and ubiquitous Internet connectivity.
He holds an MBA with honours from Chicago Booth, a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO (France).
