Andre Tremblay

Bio

André Tremblay is the co-founder and was CEO of Terrestar from 2008 to 2020. He has served as Executive Chairman of the Board since then. With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, André has been instrumental in the conception, financing, and management of several successful companies. Notably, for nearly a decade, he was the President and CEO of Microcell Telecommunications (Fido™), a wireless network and service provider, leading it from inception through its complete evolution. During that time, he also provided early-stage financing, strategic counsel, and direction to numerous other successful start-up tech firms. In 2005, André was appointed by Canada’s Industry Minister to the Telecommunications Policy Review Panel, where he contributed to modernizing Canada’s telecommunication policies and regulatory framework.
