Eric Even

Bio

Eric Even is Vice President and Head of Marketing & Sales for Connected Intelligence since July 2017. As part of Airbus Defence and Space, the Connected Intelligence Programme Line focuses on a range of digital services and solutions related Space, Defence and Public Safety. The activities cover secure space and terrestrial connectivity, earth observation, big data management and intelligence, command & control capabilities as well as cyber resilience and the multi-domain combat cloud, a future concept focused on digitizing battlespace.
Based in Munich, Eric is responsible for more than 300 people worldwide in the area of business development and sales, bid management, and marketing covering the Connected Intelligence portfolio. He is a member of the Connected Intelligence Executive Committee and the Airbus Defence and Space Marketing & Sales Board.
Eric started his career in the automotive division of the Siemens Group, holding several sales and program management positions in Germany and France. His responsibility for customers like Renault and Nissan allowed him to develop deep insights in international business and relationships in Japan, Korea, North and South America and Europe.
Joining Airbus in 2008, Eric focused on the Airbus space business, in particular on the development of international partnerships, profitable and long-lasting business with international customers. He was also working as the head of International Sales operations. From February 2014 until July 2017, Eric was heading the Airbus Defence and Space CEO office. In this role, he also served as Secretary to the Executive Committee.
Being Franco-German, Eric holds a European business double degree from Münster (Germany) and Bordeaux (France). He has always been interested in international business and European integration, and is a member of the German “Zeit” foundation and the Committee of French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCEF).
Born on 16 October 1979, Eric is married and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys discovering different countries and cultures, wine tasting, skiing and tennis.
