Bio

Ms. Ayşe Yücel Erbay is the Director of the NiK System Division which specialized in Remote Sensing since 1996 at NiK Construction Trade Company (1993). NiK System represents numerous suppliers in these fields, providing services for the provision of ground truthing (Spectroradiometers), airborne cameras, software and satellite data for Remote Sensing.

One of the first companies to begin selling commercial satellite imagery in Turkiye and neighboring countries, NiK Systems has amassed a comprehensive portfolio of EO satellite images. Drawing on her prior experience in oceanography and oil exploration, Yücel is experienced in a wide range of remote sensing applications including defense, agriculture, mining & exploration geology and oceanography. She has provided satellite imagery for over 15 years or more for some projects, including a project to monitor cotton fields. she has also provided satellite imagery for and participated in projects for a wide variety of applications.

Yücel received her bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara and her master's degree from the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Bogazici University, Istanbul.
