Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Wyvern is Canada’s first and only hyperspectral satellite imagery company. Founded in 2018 by four University of Alberta alumni and past members of the AlbertaSat Program, Wyvern is first-to-market with high-resolution hyperspectral data from space. Wyvern delivers hyperspectral imagery from space to provide detailed information about the Earth's surface. This enables analysis at a scale never seen before. For the first time, Wyvern is bringing a space-based solution to the market - producing high-resolution hyperspectral imagery that is affordable, reliable, and scalable.
