Arpan Sahoo is CEO and co-founder of KaleidEO, a SatSure group company
building optical payloads and Earth observation satellites, and one of four
private firms delivering India's first commercial national Earth Observation
constellation.
A former ISRO scientist more than 14 years of experience in the space
industry, Arpan has led KaleidEO's payload development as Chief Operating
Officer before being named CEO in 2025.
KaleidEO’s portfolio spans wide-swath multispectral payloads for large-area
change detection, and very-high-resolution payloads for sovereign and
critical-infrastructure monitoring, both designed to process imagery in orbit
and shorten the path from data to decision.
Arpan holds a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from IIST, Asia's only
dedicated space university, and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering
from the University of Colorado Boulder.
