Currently Managing Director of LUXEOps consortium (STARION Luxembourg, OHB-Digital Connect and LUXSPACE) to deliver the LUXEOSys Ground Segment in Luxembourg. In addition, Managing Director of Starion Luxembourg (Starion Group’s affiliate), Bruno has a broad background, encompassing the services and business sides of a worldwide leader of engineering expertise and solutions for space, defence and other critical infrastructures, Starion Group. With more than 30 years in the field of space and telecommunications industry, he has experienced first-hand the dynamics of the rapidly evolving and changing global telecommunications marketplace.
The early years in Bruno's career were spent with former Aerospatiale – France (now Thales Alenia Space - TAS), a period during which he became a key person of the communication engineering staff. He joined former Alenia Spazio – Italy in 1991 (now TAS), as a Payload Manager, and then Telespazio - Italy in 1999. In 2000, he moved to SES ASTRA – Luxembourg, then to SES Global in 2005 supporting the global sourcing and procurement of SES affiliates. In the period 2008-2015, he managed its European Fleet Planning. In 2016, he was a key member of its System and Fleet Engineering department. Note that in 2016-2017, he acted as Managing Director of SES Electra Program office in Bremen - Germany. Since 2021, he joined Starion Luxembourg.
Bruno holds a MSc graduate at ENSEA, Paris earned with honours degree in Telecommunication Engineering application and got a management degree at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
