Dr. Oleg Demidov is General Partner at Beyond Earth Ventures, a U.S. venture fund focused on deep tech, energy and space technologies, where he identifies and backs the innovations defining the next decade.
Oleg is an operator-investor with two exits and a decade of experience building AI, satellite and climate tech companies from zero to commercial scale. His operating background includes Navigine (satellite and indoor positioning, exited 2018, with 100+ enterprise installations across 10 countries) and CarbonSpace (AI/satellite-powered carbon data infrastructure, exited 2024, a B2B SaaS platform serving Fortune 500 corporates on emissions monitoring). Under his leadership, both companies raised multiple funding rounds, won enterprise customers, and were recognized with awards including Shell's New Energy Challenge. He co-founded the first Space Tech Syndicate on AngelList (800+ investors) and advises family offices on investment strategy and co-investment decisions in frontier technologies. He holds a PhD in Physics & Mathematics and an MA in Economics, and has authored 15+ publications on finance, investment and deep tech.
