Bio

Laura Todd is a dynamic leader in the space industry, currently serving as co-founder and Chief Strategy & Product Officer of EarthSavvy. Additional activities include senior advisory or board member roles for a variety of companies including SpaceWatch Global, Portal Space Systems, and Colossus Computing. Most rewardingly, Laura is a mentor in the Space stream of Creative Destruction Labs, where she has the privilege to support innovative minds and entrepreneurs dedicated to space exploration.

A "big-picture" thinker, Laura focuses on not just "where" we are going, but more importantly, "why." She champions a structured approach with a long-term vision, delivering immediate value through iterative, scalable, and modular building blocks.

Laura's impressive career includes two decades at Airbus, where she held diverse positions across the full value chain. She excelled at problem-solving and delivering value, with key achievements such as the BelugaXL launch, ensuring on-time delivery for the MSN5-digit program (Airbus's Y2K), and the lean-agile implementation of the Skywise platform for Airlines. Her role as VP of Space Exploration Future Programmes solidified her lifelong objective: to influence the future of human space exploration and connect with a global network pursuing the same goal.

Having resided in Toulouse for over 20 years, Laura considers herself a "Scottish Toulousaine." She continues to enjoy the rich culture and gastronomy of Southern France, while also embracing her passion for conviviality.
