Milena Lerario

Bio

She graduated in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, specialising in Aerodynamics. She began her professional career in 2008 in Hamburg, Germany, at Industrie Hansa where she was involved in the A380 vertical tailplane repair campaign for Airbus Deutschland.

In 2011, she then moved on to wing production and certification for the A350XWB in Germany, France and England.

Over the years, she has held managerial roles in different functions, from Corporate Audit as Senior Corporate Operations Auditor to Human Resources, responsible at Group level for the contingent workforce, redeployment & diversity at the Airbus HQ in Toulouse.

In Madrid, between 2018 and 2022, she held the role of Head of Spacecraft Plant Production at national level, implementing a transformation and optimisation of industrial plant processes towards greater innovation and digitalisation.

In April 2022, she was appointed Managing Director of the Airbus Italia, Airbus Defence & Space unit in Italy with the mission of driving the transformation from service company to mass production.

Since September 2024, she has been CEO of e-GEOS and SVP of Telespazio‘s Geo-Info Business Line.
