Xavier Cavelan is Senior Vice President of Safran Space, where he leads global sales and marketing activities for space segment and ground infrastructure solutions.
Graduated from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), in 2001, he began his career working on Ariane launch vehicle programs and Vulcain engines before moving into space program management. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in satellite electric propulsion, holding a variety of leadership roles spanning program management, international business development, and strategic growth initiatives.
With over 25 years of experience in the space, both technical and commercial, Xavier Cavelan now drives the development of Safran Space's by supporting customers and partners across the global space ecosystem.
