David Avino, founder and CEO of Argotec, an Italian company specializing in small satellites and its components. After Army Special Forces experience, he pursued a civilian career in space, becoming a NASA and ESA instructor. In the U.S., he founded a company, collaborated with NASA. Returning to Italy in 2008, he launched Argotec, initiating the first European commercial space activity with a coffee machine for astronauts. Today, Argotec participates in NASA missions like LICIACube (Mission of the Year 2023) and ArgoMoon and while also collaborating with ESA and ASI across multiple programs. With over 250 employees, it operates in Europe, the U.S., and Gulf areas.
