Kat Hickey

Bio

Kat is a Manager at Novaspace, based in the UK. Having joined Novaspace in 2022, she brings strategy and market development experience across the space sector, including satellite communications / telecommunications, ground segment, optical communications, but also sustainability, EO / GNSS satellite applications applied to different verticals, and more.

She is equipped with excellent skills in strategy definition, market analyses, technical assessments, business cases, project and event management, as well as communication at board-level and with lay people/non-technical audiences.

Previously, she served as Senior Business Development Manager at Goonhilly Earth Station Limited. Her strong analytical skills have been honed through her PhD, MSc and BSc degrees in geophysics.
