Wim Steenbakkers ING Wholesale Banking TMT Managing Director Global Lead Satellite & Technology Wim is Global Sector Head Satellite & Technology responsible for ING’s client base in this sector In his role as Global Head, Wim has dedicated global relationship management responsibility for providing (structured) financing solutions to the satellite industry value chain Wim is leading ING’s global efforts in industries such as datacentres, software and semi-conductors, where the team has regional responsibility for relationship management and origination of a new customer base Wim has worked on the structuring and documentation of a large variety of financing structures including project financings, ECA supported loans, term loans, leasing structures and securitisation programmes relating to the TMT sector as well as experience in debt advisory and corporate finance Prior to TMT, Wim has built experience in asset-based financings (aircraft, marine containers and rolling stock). Wim has also been a portfolio manager in the Asset-Based Finance group responsible for the management of a US$ 1 billion asset-backed loan portfolio Wim holds a master degree in economic sciences from the University of Amsterdam
