Bio

Ange Defendini is a Vice President at Airbus Defence and Space, in charge of running future programs and acquiring all new contracts in Earth Observation, Science and Exploration (EOSX).

His scope covers around 200 employees working at seven sites in four European countries.

With annual revenues between 1 and 1.5 billions depending on the years, the EOSX organization has a solid customer base, comprising the institutional space agencies of Europe, domestic defence and export customers across the world. EOSX has a particularly outstanding in-orbit track record, with a cumulated in-orbit lifetime close to 900 years.

Ange has been leading future program and proposals teams for nearly a decade, covering all areas, including Earth Observation, Science, Navigation and Exploration.

He has an in-depth experience of Earth Observation, having worked in this field for over 32 years in leading positions in engineering, equipment development, satellite product line development and project management, prior to moving to EOSX management positions.
