Anton Leemhuis

Bio

Anton Leemhuis heads the earth observation activities of TNO. He works with companies, governments, and scientists to realize innovations that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution and biodiversity loss. He is one of the initiators of the Dutch consortium that is currently developing TANGO, a satellite mission of ESA that will provide facility-level observations of emissions in order to help verify the Paris Agreement. Anton is board member of the national Dutch research consortium for earth observation of the atmosphere Clear Air. Previously he worked in technical and commercial roles in the energy sector and was director of TNO’s Middle-East Branch Office.
