Bio

François embarked on his journey in the space sector in 1985, starting at SEP before transitioning to CNES, where he oversaw testing for the Ariane 5's Vulcain Engine at the Launch Vehicles Directorate. He later took on roles managing the implementation program and ground/space interfaces at CNES. Following Ariane 5's initial launches, he transitioned to ARIANESPACE in commercial management before joining STARSEM, where he served in sales and eventually as the commercial director for over fifteen years. In the past decade, François worked into the realm of space insurance, serving as the CEO of ARTI, a global leader in the field. In April 2020, he embarked on a new chapter by joining Sirius Space Services, a pioneering space startup dedicated to innovation, challenge, and sustainability. He emphasized the importance of balancing market demands with responsible practices. Within three years of its establishment, Sirius Space Services has grown to a team of fifty individuals, comprising diverse talents and industry experts. Together, they are developing a range of sovereign, 100% reusable launchers tailored for small satellites, driven by a shared ambition to shape the future of space.
