Bio

Nathan de Ruiter is Partner and Managing Director at Novaspace.
Since joining in 2011, he has advised a wide range of Canadian and international clients including satellite operators, manufacturers, equipment providers, service providers and government agencies, private equity and financial institutions.
Nathan plays an integral role in contributing to the successful execution of client engagements through the development of project management, quality assurance and professional consulting and research methodologies.
Over the last 15 years, Nathan has managed and contributed to more than 200 consulting missions. His specialty lies in commercial due diligence, market analysis, financial forecasting and strategic planning.
More specifically, Nathan has led multiple commercial due diligence assessments for satellite operators and private equity firms including projects for OneWeb, Globalstar, AST Mobile, Telesat Lightspeed etc. His client portfolio include EDC, US Ex-Im Bank, KKR, Kymeta, Carlyle, Blackstone, Apollo Management LP etc.
Nathan is an invited speaker and moderator on market trends and dynamics in the satellite services sector at international conferences including the World Satellite Business Week, SATELLITE, CES, APSAT, ConnecTechAsia SATCON, and PTC.
