Jarkko Antila

Bio

Jarkko Antila is the CEO of a Finland-based New Space start-up Kuva Space. Mr. Antila is an experienced deep-tech start-up entrepreneur with solid track record on new products, fundraising and leadership. He has lead technology teams at VTT and Inficon, and has co-founded a spectral sensor company Spectral Engines where he acted as the CEO for 6 years before exit after which he founded a deep-tech business consultancy company Leaping Boulder. Mr. Antila has a Master’s degree in Space Technology, and has been involved in multiple space projects before joining Kuva Space, like the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) for the EOS Aura satellite, and in the development of the main hyperspectral payload for the first Finnish satellite Aalto-1.
