John Rood

Bio

John Rood is Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO of Momentus, a satellite bus and component manufacturer, also offering transportation, and hosted payload services.  Momentus has contracts with US Government organizations, including NASA, SDA, SpaceWERX, and DARPA, as well as commercial customers in the US and internationally.  Prior to joining Momentus, John held executive positions at two of the world’s largest aerospace and defense companies, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, and served in the US Government as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy.
