Bio

Mina Mitry is Co-Founder and CEO of Kepler Communications, a company building the Internet for space to simplify access to space-generated data. Under Mina’s leadership, Kepler has raised over $200 million in funding, receiving industry accolades as one of the most innovative space companies in the world by Fast Company and a “Top 10 in Satellite” from Via Satellite. Kepler has flight heritage on their current network of 21 satellites and is building a next-generation constellation to streamline on-orbit communications with a network infrastructure designed to act as Internet exchange points (IXP) for space-to-space data relay. The Internet-ready constellation will deliver data to and from spacecraft in real time, enabling high-speed data relay through SDA-standard optical terminals. Prior to Kepler, Mina commercialized his research work on numerical methods and machine learning at a major aircraft engine manufacturer.
