Bio
Eric Even is the Head of Space Digital for Connected Intelligence as of January 01st 2024. Eric is a member of the Connected Intelligence Executive Committee and leads a team of more than 2,000 people worldwide.Space Digital enables trusted space-related information superiority to support national security and business-critical operations through the provision of end-to-end solutions, delivering:
- Systems Integration
- Ground Segment
- Imagery & Analytics
- Advanced geospatial and communications solutions
As part of Airbus Defence and Space, the Connected Intelligence programme line focuses on a range of digital solutions related to Space, Defence, Public Safety and Cyber security.
Eric started his career in the automotive industry within Siemens Group concentrating on programme and sales management. Working with customers such as Renault and Nissan allowed him to develop deep insights into international business in North & South America, Japan, Korea and Europe.
Joining Airbus in 2008 at the Group Headquarter, Eric’s initial venture into ‘Space’ focused on Latin America and industrial partnerships. From February 2014 until July 2017, Eric headed the Airbus Defence and Space CEO office. Prior to taking up his new role as Head Space Digital, Eric was Vice President and Head of Sales for Connected Intelligence in the area of business development, bid management and marketing.
Being Franco-German, Eric holds a European double business degree from Münster (Germany) and Bordeaux (France). He has always been interested in international business and European integration, and is a member of the German “Zeit” foundation and a French Foreign trade advisor (CCEF).
Eric is married and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys discovering different countries and cultures, wine tasting, skiing and tennis.
