Michael Putz

Bio

Michael Putz, co-founder and CEO of blackshark.ai, was born in Salzburg, Austria. With a master’s in computer science, he first made his mark by building Austria’s largest video-game studio, fueling his passion for expansive 3D worlds. This experience led him to spearhead the pioneering technology behind creating the entire planet in 3D for Microsoft Flight Simulator, setting the stage for the inception of blackshark.ai. Born out of a game studio, blackshark.ai is dedicated to redefining high-frequency mapping by aiming to develop a real-time digital twin of Earth. Michael enjoys free skiing and CrossFit outside of work and enjoys time with his family.
